26/12/2007 Two Man Enduro
The annual Two Man Enduro was held on boxing day in good conditions with a massive entry of 87 pairs (174 riders). In what was a fun event Barry Kinley and Michael Jackson emerged
as overall winners on 37 laps with the father and son pairing of John and Danny McCanney coming home in second place on 36 laps and Gareth Quayle and Mark Cringle finishing third on the same number of laps.
David Knight led from the start as expected but suffered from a mechanical problem and was forced to retire. This gave 79 riders the chance to beat
the former world champion and American GNCC Champ as he and his partner Scott Brooker finished way back in 80th place!
Matty Lund and Mark Barker finished a good 4th on 35 laps. There was 6 pairs all finishing on 33 laps fighting it out for 5th position with Chris Madigan and Alistair Heginbotham coming off the best and Mark Lund and Mark Kinley rounding off the top 6.
The Over and Under 40 Class was won by John and Danny McCanney from Matty Lund and Mark Barker.
