WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE RAMSEY MOTOR CYCLE CLUB
30 riders braved the wet and muddy conditions at Ballamodha for
the first round of the Ramsey MCC club championship on Sunday 24th Jan. with an equal spread of riders signing on for the
three classes.
In the expert class Josh Brian came out on top just getting the better of Barry Kinley on the very last section,
this proved to be the hardest section of the day which saw the experts having to carfeully negotiate or try and blast over
a series of muddy off camber roots, with Barry trying the speedy aproach which did not quite come off, ride of the day came
from Chris Madican who skipped over the roots for 2 marks dropped.
Neil Christian topped the clubman class with a loss of 12 to beat Jack Faragher who is showing good form on his new GasGas.
The Sportsmen/Twinshocks saw Stephen Collins beating Peter Christian to top spot with Jimmy Davidson getting to grips with
the Truimph Cub to beat Phil Ward by 1 mark.
Thanks to Philip Kelly for letting us use the land at short notice and the observers on the day.
